1/11 Violet Zoom Class WITH PATTERN & Surprise Kit - Please read description carefully!
All supplies for outside of bag will be included in your kit. Lining fabric, interfacing and interior zipper not included.
Kits will be a surprise - my choice of cork, hardware & zipper 😊 but feel free to add a note if you have a color preference (or a color you don't enjoy!)
BEFORE CLASS you will need to have all your pieces from page 1 cut and labeled. Trim B, F, J & L using templates. CHECK YOUR 1” TEST SQUARE!! Please also prep and topstitch the fixed handles (H), adjustable handle (I) and tabs (E) so we can save time in class. You will create one long strip from the two I pieces as per Step 3.
We will start class on page 3 (Adding the hardware).
You will receive in your kit:
(2) coordinated 18 x 27 pieces of cork for outside
Outside zipper for closure
1" hardware set
Double D ring hardware
PDF Violet pattern
The kits DOES NOT come precut! You will also need to supply your own lining fabric, interior zipper and interfacing (if applicable). Lining K & L pieces need to be interfaced (if using quilter's cotton) before class.
You will also need:
1/8” or 1/4" non-fusible tape (I prefer 1/8”)
All basic sewing supplies including scissors, binding clips, marking tool, matching thread, rotary cutter, ruler, mat, lighter, seam ripper, etc.
Sewing Machine with 1/8” & zipper feet
A stapler is super helpful for finishing!!
Zoom class is from 11am - 6pm Eastern (NY time) with 30-40 minute lunch break.
