Join me for a super fun In Person Retreat
Sew along with our team (Barb, Marlene & Jess!) and all our friends IN PERSON at the beautiful Queensbury Hotel. This retreat is for sewists of all kinds and skill levels.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO MAKE BAGS - YOU MAY WORK ON ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE!
This is not a formal class. We will not be working on the same project together and we will not be able to guide any attendee step by step through a pattern. You'll be working on your own and asking for help as needed :)
*If an optional class is added on, it will be a separate item and NOT included in the price.
The $125 cost is for the entire 3 days of the retreat with us, not including rooms & meals. No further payment to SMC is required for the retreat.
What's included in the weekend?
Each attendee will receive a goody bag.
The SMC team is here to assist you and answer any questions you have about our patterns. (You are welcome to work on other designer's bag patterns but we will not be able to answer questions about them, sorry).
Your name will be entered into several drawings throughout the weekend to win fun prizes like cork and fabric!
Browse our pop-up shop - We will be bringing lots of supplies with us including kits, cork, hardware and more! Please plan accordingly - we will not be making trips back to the shop during the weekend (it's over an hour away). We will be happy to bring any orders placed by 10/1 to the retreat for you.
We will set up cutting & ironing stations.
We will have snacks & coffee- Feel free to bring some to share!
What's NOT included in the weekend?
Your room - you will need to book directly with the Queensbury Hotel (see below)
Meals - We will have snacks but meals are not included. You will receive a $5 voucher towards the cost of your breakfast, included when you book you room. For Lunch and Dinner, you will be on your own. The hotel does have a restaurant for convenience and there are restaurants within walking distance in the area for sit down and take out.
